Built to Your Specification
Every unit has different requirements. We work directly with agencies and procurement teams to configure the right plate solution — from material grade and plate geometry to surface finish and identification markings. Our team manages the entire process in-house, from design through to final inspection. Please specify your requirements when submitting your procurement inquiry
Step 1
Protection Level
Standard Protection — Up to NIJ Level IIIA
The helmet complies with the NIJ 0101.08 ballistic standard, providing certified protection against handgun projectiles and fragmentation threats up to Level IIIA.
Fragmentation resistance is tested under the V50 ballistic test, with a V50 threshold of 620 m/s and 670 m/s for fragment simulation projectiles.
Premium Protection — NIJ Level III
The helmet is tested for ballistic resistance under the V50 ballistic test to NIJ Level III — providing certified protection against rifle-caliber threats in addition to handgun projectiles and fragmentation.
This ensures the helmet is capable of stopping high-velocity projectiles and shrapnel encountered in combat and blast environments.
Step 2
Materials
Aramid (Kevlar®)
A proven ballistic fiber widely used in military helmet construction — offering excellent protection against ballistic threats and fragmentation, with strong heat resistance and durability. Aramid is the established standard material for helmets requiring certified NIJ and MIL-STD compliance.
UHMWPE
Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene delivers the same level of certified ballistic protection at a significantly reduced weight compared to Aramid — reducing fatigue during extended operations and improving mobility. The preferred material where weight reduction is the priority.
Custom Materials
For agencies with specific performance or operational requirements, our team works directly with procurement officers to source and configure the right material specification for your mission.
Step 3
Shape Options
PASGT (Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops)
Full-coverage traditional profile offering maximum ballistic protection across the head and temple areas — suited for infantry and general military applications.
FAST (Future Assault Shell Technology)
Lightweight and modern profile with reduced ear coverage for enhanced situational awareness — preferred by special forces and tactical units requiring high mobility.
MICH (Modular Integrated Communications Helmet)
Modular profile designed for compatibility with communication systems and tactical accessories — suited for units requiring integrated headset and electronics mounting.
CVC (Combat Vehicle Crewman)
Low-profile design optimized for vehicle crew members — providing protection and comfort in confined spaces and armored vehicle environments.
Custom Shapes
Custom profiles can be designed and manufactured to meet specific mission requirements or unit specifications not covered by standard profiles.
Step 4
Colors
Standard Colors
Available in Green, Black, Desert, and Blue as standard colorways for military, law enforcement, and security applications.
Custom Colors
Custom colors and camouflage patterns are available on request — including unit-specific colorways and multi-terrain patterns for operational environment matching.
Step 5
Sizing
Standardized Sizing
Ch.Paisarn helmets are available in two standard size configurations to ensure a secure and comfortable fit across a wide range of head sizes:
• Size 1: S / M
• Size 2: L / XL
Custom Sizing
Custom sizing is available on request for specific unit requirements or non-standard fit specifications.
